Our operations depend on having access to the right equipment, in the right condition and with highly skilled and trained operators.
Cargo Carrying Units “CCUs”
We have extensive experience in the supply, certification, maintenance and tracking of CCUs. All our core fleet of units are built to either BS EN 12079 or DNV 2.7.1 standards.
Our established and experienced CCU team members are focused solely on successful CCU operation providing all unit requests, tracking and management services directly to our customers. Should any units require repair, testing or certification, they are withdrawn from our fleet until they are serviced and rendered ready for re-use.
A custom-made CCU tracking system complements our robust processes and provides a single point of entry for all transactional data improves efficiencies across the CCU hire process, providing faster response times and more accurate reporting of hires, unit location, and certification status.
Reporting is available and vendors are contacted on a daily basis to ensure that the units are quickly emptied and returned for the next off-hire.
Self-propelled modular transporters "SPMTs"
The addition of SPMTs to Peterson’s service and capabilities gives our customers access to the most powerful heavy-duty transportation systems in the world. SPMTs are an extremely flexible heavy lift solution that can be configured to meet the specific load requirements and space constraints of each project.
Our owned and operator fleet of Scheuerle 4th generation (G4) SPMTs is capable of transporting heavy loads of up to 720 Te and at just over 1m high and 2.3m wide can fit into the tightest of spaces. Our 4 and 6 axle line transporter units can be operated independently or assembled into any combination (8, 10, 12, 16, and 20) providing highly robust, but very flexible and manoeuvrable transportation.
Our SPMT’s units are available for hire together with skilled operating personnel. Their compact size means they can be transported on a standard flatbed trailer allowing for simple and efficient deployment to site.
