The three-year contract commenced 1st July 2020 and will see Peterson provide aviation services from passenger, freight and survival kit handling.
Next to this, flight planning, monitoring and sharing through its Air Logistics Centre at Den Helder Airport in the Netherlands is another activity delivered by Peterson. The flights will be executed with two Leonardo AW 139 type aircraft. One based in Norwich and the other in Den Helder.
Jan Willem Cornelissen, Business Manager Aviation at Peterson Den Helder BV, said: “We are delighted to secure this contract to provide our services to support NHV’s operation in the Netherlands.
“Our extensive experience providing logistics services and alignment of procedures is important to our customers and this new contract allows us to implement the same procedures for both marine and air transport for personnel travelling to their offshore locations.
“We are already processing passengers for the two Walk to Work vessels via Den Helder Airport for Shell UK and look forward to continue our close working relationship with NHV and their clients.”
Peterson has been operating in Den Helder since early 1970s and supports a number of clients including major oil and gas operators with its marine and air transport services.
